Your best option is to go to a tech store and hope they have them on display, but my 2013 edition is still working fine and I don't find a problem with the click being too light. Hey guys, I have DA 3.5g, but Id like to replace it after 4 good years. Ontopic: This is really difficult to assess as we don't know how heavy you lay your fingers on your mouse, what grip, and what you prefer in a mouse click. I've used a Deathadder for the past 2 years, and I've had no problems, and I have friends who had Deathaddders from 3.5G and they've had no problems, obviously this person's mouse isn't the garbage you make it out to. Price doesn't denote quality also, the Mamba and Ourborous are probably shitty mice. Might as well mention how all of Logitech's keyboards are complete trash. List pros and cons instead of crying about how Razer is shit and Logitech is god. Razer is like beats of the peripherals world, except that Beats is getting better Did I mention that they both broke and Razer took their sweet ass time to replace them which promptly broke down again right after the warranty. Still, it's cool that it's there for those who want it, and it also makes the DeathAdder Chroma the mouse with the highest true DPI level we've yet seen.HA, I've owned the Mamba and the Ourborous, 2 of Razer's mose expensive mice, and non of them hold a candle to the Logitech G700s, or the G502, or the Corsair M65, or the Steelseries Wireless, or pretty much any mice you can buy for anywhere near that price. We apologise for this error, although still stand by our statement that we can't see the new higher levels of DPI being of much practical use even on a 4K screen settings between 8,000 and 10,000 DPI felt far too sensitive. The confusion arose because earlier models of the mouse shipped with the new sensor wrapped in the body of the old one. Specifically, the DeathAdder Chroma uses the Avago S3989 sensor, not the S3988. Name Razer Deathadder Logitech G502 Key Features - High Precision 16,000 DPI Optical Sensor: Offers on the fly sensitivity adjustment through dedicated DPI buttons (reprogrammable) for gaming and creative work - Customizable Chroma RGB Color Profiles: Includes 16. Update: Razer has been in touch to inform us that the sensor in the Chroma is actually native 10,000 DPI, and not a 6,400 DPI model with interpolation as we previously said. This is a 6,400 DPI sensor so Razer is using interpolating to reach the higher levels, which we can't see many using anyway. Step 3) Follow the on-screen prompts to update. Step 2) Install the Updater and launch it. Step 1) Download DeathAdder 2013 or DeathAdder Chroma Updater on your Windows computer. That said, the sensor hasn't actually changed from the Avago S3988 found in the previous model, the DeathAdder 2013. Note: We only found DeathAdder 2013 and Chroma’s firmware updater if you are facing the double click issue on Elite or any other model, try contacting Razer Support. The DeathAdder Chroma is a five button mouse that uses an optical sensor capable of tracking at a ridiculous 10,000 DPI.
